Our apologies to Al Solecki for not including him in the photographs. Al came but left early before any of the pictures were taken.

Below is a photograph taken this fall of John Brogan. John has been an English teacher in Maine for over 30 years and now travels the country giving seminars to teachers on how to teach reading and writing. John and his wife, Martha live in Maine and have four children. He stopped by my daughter's house while he was giving a seminar in north Jersey. His cousin, Joe Lynch who graduated three years after us at La Salle now teaches at the high school.

John has a million stories and a passion for writing. Some day soon I am going to get a couple six packs and a tape recorder and let John talk about his experiences with teaching, his memories of La Salle, basketball, the guys from Happy Hollow in Germantown, etc. It would definitely fill a great book.
